A velvety, rounded and full body red wine (it was matured about 1 year in barriques, crafted out of French oak) with powerful aromas of black forest overripe fruits, vanilla, cedar and cacao. It has the proverbial juicy texture, with mellow and balanced tannins and a very long sweet aftertaste.

To be served at 18-20°C, in large Bordeaux type red wine glasses, with stem. It will show more complex characteristics when decanted / aerated in a large recipient for about 20-30 minutes before service.
The one for red meat, anything from pork and veal to game, baked or pan fried with herbs and butter. Goes well with tortellini / meat pelmeni, lasagna and even matured fine cheeses, the noble mold kind.
Perfect pairing: Beef Wellington.
